Core Return Policy

What is a core?

The sale of a remanufactured part involves the price of the part itself, as well as an additional core charge to encourage the return of the old part for remanufacturing purposes. The core charge, or core deposit, is a form of deposit you pay until you return your old part. If you don't have the core at the time of purchase, you must pay the core charge. That charge is refunded to you when you return the core.

Not only does it keep the cost down of the remanufactured product by returning a core but you can help save the environment by keeping approximately 60,000 tons of cores out of landfills annually.

Each exchange purchase will carry a refundable core deposit. Cores must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase. Cores received after 30 days of the original purchase will automatically forfeit the deposit. The core must accompany a purchase order or invoice to ensure proper credit. Cores must be rebuildable. If a core is not rebuildable, the deposit will be forfeited. All cores meeting the non-rebuildable criteria can be returned to a customer however the shipping will be assumed responsible to the customer's expense.

Non-Rebuildable Core Criteria

  • Water Damage

  • External/Physical Damage

  • Extensive Corrosion

  • Burned Beyond Repair

  • Broken Case or Connectors

  • Rust Contamination

All qualified core deposits are processed on the 1st and 15th of the month. Core deposits will be refunded to the original credit card/payment method used for purchase.
